Frequently Asked Questions

Both. NeuroAes works with women- and nonbinary-led brands, whether that brand is you or your business.
For individuals, that might mean personal styling, a wardrobe detox, styling for a big event, or a LinkedIn profile refresh so your online presence matches the professional you are.
For businesses, that might mean a brand strategy session, website design, social media content and management, event content, or virtual meeting support.
Many clients are somewhere in between: founders, creatives, and personal brands where the person and the business are closely connected.
Not sure where you fit? Book a Brand Strategy Session or reach out at contact@neuroaes.com, and we’ll figure out the best place to start.

After checkout, you’ll get an order confirmation by email. Within 1-2 business days, I’ll reach out personally to get started.
First, I’ll learn about you: your needs, your goals, and your timeline. That may happen through a short questionnaire, a quick call, or both, depending on the service. I’ll also let you know if there’s anything helpful to gather beforehand, like photos of your current wardrobe or examples of content and brands you love.
Once I understand what you’re looking for, we’ll confirm your session date or project timeline, so you’ll always know what’s happening next.
Note: If, after learning more about your goals, a different service would serve you better, I’ll let you know and switch it on my end, adjusting the cost if needed, so there’s no need to cancel or re-book.
Haven’t heard from me within 3-5 business days? Check your spam folder, then email contact@neuroaes.com.

NeuroAes is based in Chicago, and I work with clients both locally and remotely.
Image consulting and content creation are available in person in the Chicago area, as well as virtually. Virtual styling sessions use video calls plus photos of your wardrobe, so you’ll still get personalized guidance wherever you are.
Brand strategy sessions, LinkedIn refreshes, website design, and virtual meeting support all happen online, so you can work with me from anywhere.
Note: Depending on your location, a travel fee may apply for in-person sessions, including some areas within Chicago and the suburbs. Share where you’re located when you book or reach out, and I’ll confirm whether a fee applies before we schedule.
If you’re not sure which format works best for you, mention it when you book or reach out at contact@neuroaes.com.

Yes. Every body is welcome here. Image consulting isn’t about changing your body to fit the clothes; it’s about finding clothes, cuts, and proportions that work with the body you have right now. Together we’ll look at what fits comfortably, what flatters your shape the way you want it to, and what feels like you.
If you have specific fit challenges, like hard-to-find sizes, adaptive needs, or clothes that never seem to fit right off the rack, mention them when you book so we can plan for them, including tailoring tips and where to shop.
-
You don’t need to do much. I’ll send a short questionnaire beforehand so I can learn about your lifestyle, goals, and personal style. A little preparation helps us make the most of our time together.
For a Wardrobe Detox:
Please don’t clear anything out beforehand, even pieces you’re unsure about. Seeing everything helps me understand what you reach for and why. Make sure your clothes, shoes, and accessories are easy to get to, and set aside a few bags or boxes for items you decide to donate, sell, or store. Wear comfortable, simple undergarments, since we’ll likely try things on.For Personal Styling:
Gather a few photos of looks, people, or brands you love, plus any pieces you already own and want to build around. It also helps to have your sizes or measurements handy and a general budget in mind if we’ll be shopping. For virtual sessions:
Choose a spot with good lighting and enough room to step back so I can see full outfits on camera. A full-length mirror nearby is helpful too. Most of all, come as you are. There’s no right way to show up, and the session is about finding what works for you.

Content includes 2 rounds of revisions per piece, and website design includes 2-3 rounds during the design process. Revisions cover adjustments to the agreed work; new requests, like a different concept or an extra page, are quoted separately.
Need more revisions? Additional rounds are available, and I’ll share a quote before any extra work begins.

Website Design: Most websites are live within 4–6 weeks. That includes learning about your goals and brand, designing your site, revisions, and launch. Timelines can run longer if content like copy, photos, or logins is delayed, so having those ready helps keep things on track.
Monthly Content & Social Media Management: After you book, we’ll start with an onboarding period of about two weeks to learn your brand, goals, and audience and plan your first content calendar. From there, up to 16 pieces of content are created, scheduled, and posted throughout the month, and you’ll receive a performance report at the end of each month. Packages are available for 1 or 3 months.
If you have a specific launch date or deadline in mind, mention it when you book or reach out at contact@neuroaes.com, and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
