Warm-Up Activity #01: Fabrics and Feelings - Designed for a stylish nonprofit team, this warm-up asked participants to choose the fabric swatch that best captured how they were showing up to work, then describe it in sensory terms. Answers ranged from a sturdy “picnic basket” weave signaling readiness to connect, to a wavy neutral called “Sand” reflecting a year of patience. The exercise showed that, like fabrics, our moods have texture, and naming them helps us understand how we show up.
Warm-Up Activity #02: An Introduction to Seasonal Color Analysis An interactive color analysis warm-up for a nonprofit team, introducing the 12-season system through the three dimensions of color: hue, value, and chroma. Participants explored how warmth, depth, and contrast interact with natural coloring, then matched each season to familiar faces to see the theory come to life. The session turned color into a shared language for self-expression, giving the team practical tools to choose shades that feel and look most like themselves.
